Hello my name is Makayla Torivio, I am 21 years old and a Pueblo of Acoma tribal member, and I also share the heritage of Navajo, Apache and Hopi. My Acoma given name is Shry’maa tiza; my clans are Mother Salt and Little Roadrunner. My parents are Cornell Torivio and Evelynnita Garcia, my maternal grandparents are Corrine Begay and Emerson Willie, and my paternal grandparents are Lambert and Lavine Torivio.  I have 4 sisters and 9 brothers and I am the 3rd eldest of the 14 children.
