MISSION STATEMENT

The role of Miss Acoma and Miss Acoma Teen is to encourage tribal unity by promoting a positive and healthy lifestyle through community involvement and awareness.

Miss Acoma and Miss Acoma Teen shall represent the Pueblo of Acoma as a goodwill ambassador for the Acoma people.

PAGEANT ORGANIZATION

The Acoma Pageant Organization is made up of volunteer members who have been dedicated to the revitalization of the Miss Pueblo of Acoma Pageant.

Our vision is to encourage young Acoma women to speak the Acoma language, practice the traditions, and model leadership. Acoma women are expected to model the Matriarchs of the Pueblo of Acoma by holding high ethics and morals. We want to ensure these women have every opportunity available to them, while maintaining their cultural identity.
